The Governing Council of Sunyani Technical University announces the vacancy for a Registrar; and is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person.
The Position
Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar shall Serve as Secretary to the Governing Council, the Academic Board, and all Statutory Committees. He/She shall be the Chief Operating Officer in-charge of all administrative, secretarial and human resource management functions of the University.

Sunyani Technical University started as Sunyani Technical Institute in 1967, and upgraded to a Polytechnic in 1997 following the government’s decision to lay more emphasis on TVET. In 2016, the Polytechnic was converted to a Technical University following the promulgation of the Technical Universities Act, 2016 (Act 922) as amended.
