Objective
The objectives of the Faculty are to:
- Provide conducive and excellent environment, including information technology for teaching, learning and research activities
- Offer career–focused engineering-related programmes, tailored to meet the nation’s manpower needs.
- Provide students with entrepreneurial and hands-on training so that they can be self-employed.

Prof. Samuel Wiafe
Dean, Faculty of Engineering
I am Dr Samuel Wiafe, born on April 28, 1979. I come from Konongo in the Asante Akim district of the Asante Region of Ghana. Am married with three children. I have been the Dean of Faculty Engineering for the past year and also a Senior lecturer at the Civil Engineering Department. My areas of speciality are Solid/Liquid Waste Management, Urban Drainage System, Water Treatment and Distribution. My vision is to achieve agreed-upon project objectives and organizational goals consistently through learning, hard work, discipline and focus.
