The contingent of athletes and officials of Sunyani Technical University became the toast of the media and the public during the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd Ghana Technical Universities Sports Association (GHATUSA) Games held at Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale on Monday, November 15, 2022.
Contrary to the usual track-suits, officials and athletes wear for such ceremonies, the STU contingent stormed the stadium in their beautifully designed 55th Anniversary Cloth to the admiration of Guests and other participating universities. As if that was not enough, the stadium came to life when the STU contingent was filing past the VIP Box, amidst dancing and cheering.
The 2nd GHATUSA Games are currently underway in Tamale with Tamale Technical University as the host. The event which kicked off on Friday, November 11 will come to end on November 20.
